Retirement: Four Points to Plan For
If you're anything like me you are most likely on a fast approaching runway to retirement. Or like me you just want to make some serious changes in the methods that you generate your current levels of income. Just a few minutes ago I received this email from Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad. In this brief email he outlines four important points to plan for as we approach our retirement years.
Greetings Johnny,
Regardless of how old you are, it is important to plan for retirement.
There are 4 important facets to keep in mind as you plan to retire.
1. You'll need the freedom to do what you want. If you want to relax, relax. If you want to keep working, keep working.
2. You'll need the freedom to be with the people you value. One of the problems with work is that you waste a lot of time with people you can't stand.
3. You'll need the money to do what you want. Many people will retire and attempt to live on a lot less because they underestimate their standard of living.
4. You'll need the health to enjoy your retirement. Money or not, no one wants to waste their retirement sitting in a mobility scooter or a hospital bed.
To making life better,
P.S. I just finished reading Robert's new book "Second Chance: for Your Money, Your Life and Our World", He uses the lessons from the past and a brutal assessment of the present to prepare readers to see—–and seize–—the future.
If readers can train their minds to see what their eyes cannot, in a world that is becoming increasingly more ‘invisible’ and moving at a high rate of speed, they can have a second chance at creating the life they’ve always wanted.
